May 5th at 7 p.m. Gagan Kanwar will share how he and his co-founder started an enterprise software startup, Orzo, and signed customers without raising money from VCs. By adopting LEAN principles, the Orzo team invented a new product category that solved a real problem, and signed one of the world’s largest tech companies as their first paying customer.
The questions to be discussed:
1) I’m just graduating from college? Should I start a company or get a job?
2) What are VC’s looking for in early-stage companies
3) Is the fundraising climate changing?
4) Can you do it alone or do you need a co-founder
5) What are the top incubators in San Francisco — how competitive are they?
