Node Summit will bring together business leaders and technology experts to discuss Node.js’ transformative role in the future of computing. The event will also showcase solutions from a select group of startup companies that are looking towards the future by incorporating Node.js today.

Day One will feature individual talks and panel discussions focused on some key areas being transformed by demand for real-time access, large scale deployments, cloud computing environments and the need to connect with millions of devices. Day One speakers will discuss the challenges faced, the potential for the future if these challenges are met, how Node.js is helping overcome these challenges, and provide real-world examples where Node.js has been deployed and is making things possible that were never before achievable.

Day Two features a select group of startup companies participating in the first annual NodeJam. Each company will have five minutes to pitch their company, explain how they are leveraging Node.js, and convince the audience and the NodeJam judges to come and learn more in the NodeJam Demo Hall. These innovative companies will provide attendees with a clear sense of what is possible now, and what the future holds for Node.js. The NodeJam pitches will be interspersed with short presentations by major technology companies showcasing their development efforts with Node.js and showing off node powered solutions deployed and operating at scale today.

Day Two will include a panel discussion between Node.js creator Ryan Dahl and technology luminaries who created some of the core building blocks that enable the Internet as we know it today.
