FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting) is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas and collaborate. Every year, thousands of developers of free and open source software from all over the world gather at the event in Brussels.
FOSDEM is a very busy conference. This edition features 543 speakers, 570 events, and 57 tracks. We do our best to provide you with as much information and navigation options about the schedule as we can.
Activities take place in 32 rooms spread across several buildings of the Solbosch campus of the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
An overview of the room occupation by track is available, too.
There are essentially 5 different categories of sessions and activities:
- keynotes
- main tracks
- developer rooms
- lightning talks
- certification exams
For a complete (but crowded) overview, there is also a page that lists all events.
A list of all speakers is available, too.
FOSDEM is free to attend. There is no registration. Just turn up!
FOSDEM is primarily funded by sponsors and the sale of t-shirts onsite, but we also gratefully accept voluntary donations.
