Kubernetes is one of the fastest growing open source projects. According to Krihelinator, a project that tracks the popular projects on Github, Kubernetes ranks as the second most popular open source project. It is undoubtedly one of the fastest moving projects in the history of open source.
Kubernetes has been enjoying widespread adoption among startups, platform vendors, and enterprises. Amazon, Google, IBM, and Microsoft offer managed Kubernetes under the Containers as a Service (CaaS) model.
Despite the fact that over the last year there was a lot of meet-ups and IT-talks devoted to Kubernetes, it’s still impossible to comprehend all aspects of this product. There are so many projects, a lot of non-standard solutions, monitoring setup issues, optimizing resources and almost always in highload environments — all these issues are relevant and require a lot of attention.
