History of sports analytics. Comparison of Computer Vision & Hardware approaches in sports. Movement analytics in fencing based on IMU sensors.

Speaker bio:
Graduated from Ukrainian Catholic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
3 years in Data Science, 10 years in fencing. Allez was founded on the intersection of professional experience and passion in sport.

Sharing technics when standard OCR engines cannot work. Human abilities — do we read or capture text information. Handwritten character recognition. Affine transformation and capsules against convolutions

Speaker bio: Data science evangelist and practitioner (https://towardsdatascience.com/@andy.bosyi). The journey started in 1986 with first programs and even a neural network (mechanical). In 1990 I finished my first commercial project, in 2002 — started as a software developer, then PM, CTO, CEO, R&D in a custom software development company. Worked on interesting IT projects with elements of Big Data and mathematics, used 20 programming languages, created custom in-memory RDBS, participated in R library development. Starting from 2016 focused on data science and created MindCraft.ai company, which produces decision-making engines for data-driven businesses.
