Little over 850.000 citizens live Amsterdam. From Marc to Mohammed. From baby to granny. From garbage collector to PhD student. How to design online services that can be used by everyone? This was the question the Municipality of Amsterdam asked Koos Service Design in the winter of 2018. The objective of the project was to create guiding design principles for the development of online services. We wanted to create something fast, work as closely to inhabitants as possible, and deliver a visual, compact and practical outcome.
Serena is Service Design Consultant at Koos since 2017. She has a background in media studies and visual thinking. She has more than 7 years of experience in hosting creative workshops, designing customer journeys and convincing the world to listen to customers. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for Service Design and is especially interested in Inclusive Design.
