Welcome the Global DevOps Bootcamp 2020!

This year Global DevOps Bootcamp 2020 follows an end-2-end storyline to let you experience what it means to be part of a high performing software delivery team! In our one-day global event, you will be part of a company that is struggling to deliver quality software to production.
During the event, you will experience how to apply DevOps/SRE practices to improve your software delivery as a team so your company can compete again in the market of selling car parts.
When? October 24th, 2020 (Saturday)
Price? It’s FREE. But we have only 50 seats available
Global DevOps Bootcamp is a worldwide community event that will be held for the 4th time. Every year, we create a full-day experience around a central theme. The day starts with an online keynote (of a famous speaker!), a local keynote (by local partner), and a challenging yet inspiring hackathon focusing on DevOps practices and Modern Software practices.
People also learn about the latest trends and will be sharing their DevOps experiences. It’s a great opportunity to learn and network with others locally working in this space, and also get to hear all about some real-world DevOps experiences.
Be part of this year’s Global DevOps Bootcamp. It will be amazing!
More details for participants:
After the global keynote (from Gene Kim, author of The Phoenix Project and The Unicorn Project books) that is done online and and local-keynote that is done offline, it is time to get to work. During the day, you and your team will face multiple challenges to prepare your application for a big launch.
You need to prepare for this big launch event and have to combine DevOps and SRE practices to be ready to roll. You start by ensuring your application can be locally built, tested, and deployed using container technologies. Next, you will apply chaos engineering practices to gear up for the big launch event, by setting up experiments and breaking stuff on purpose to understand system behavior and become ready for prime time. Finally, after the launch, it’s up to you to keep it up and running in production.
We will create challenges for you to prepare your application for the launch. You will use chaos engineering practices to make it more resilient. And finally, you will be a true DevOps/SRE engineer when you need to solve production issues within your application.
Of course, you are not on your own. On-site proctors will help you with all your issues, and we will guide you through the day in many different ways. It is a true DevOps/SRE experience that provides many learnings you can take home after the day, to apply it in your own company.
Make sure you bring a laptop and a learning mindset, and we will take care of the rest.
