► Summary of the talk: The quality of annotated data has an immense impact on the quality of systems trained on these data. Collecting high-quality data is a complex process that involves selecting the best data for your use case, producing thoughtful annotation guidelines and task design, and assessing and improving the quality of your dataset. Analytical linguists at Grammarly have iterated on this process and have insight to share with those who are or will be involved in data annotation projects.
