We have some fantastic news to share with you! DataArt invites you to participate in the International informal programming The Proggy-Buggy Contest 2023.
Registration for the highly anticipated Proggy-Buggy International Contest 2023 is now open! We would be thrilled if you could join us for this exciting programming event on December 9th!
This contest has been running since 2014 and has drawn participants worldwide (more than 10,000 people from 60 countries over nine years).
Our team has been working tirelessly to make this year’s programming challenge more engaging, innovative, and rewarding. We’d love to have you on board again. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:

Time: 12:00 UTC+2
Location: The contest will be online, but you or your team can visit our DataArt offices in different countries and solve problems with other participants.

This year, we slightly changed our categories for participation:
— Amateurs: Participants over the age of 16 who attend school or any other secondary education institutions, students of higher education institutions, and those who have participated in university, city, regional, or national-level Olympiads (excluding ACM ICPC International Programming Contests or School Olympiad in the programming of any level).
— Professionals: Participants with previous experience in the National Student (ACM ICPC) or School (IOI) Olympiad in programming or other programming competitions.
— Superheroes: Participants who ranked in the top 10 of the National Student Olympiad (ACM ICPC) or School Olympiad (IOI) in programming and past winners of the Proggy-Buggy Contest in all categories.
Before submitting your registration form, please review the main rules:
— If you’re new to the contest, please fill in all the required fields and create your login. If you see a notification that the login is already taken, don’t worry. Close the popup window and type another login. Once you’ve filled in all the details correctly, you’ll receive a notification that your password has been sent to your email address. The email from [email protected] contains your credentials and the link to the contest 2023. Save it! After your first login, you can easily change your password to something more memorable. But remember to log in via the email link within 24 hours of submitting the form and click the “Confirm registration button” in your account. Otherwise, your registration will be canceled. And you have to start the registration process from the very beginning.
— You can use your existing login and password if you’ve participated in our previous contests. Once you’ve filled in all the details correctly, you might see a notification that your login is already taken. Don’t worry! Click the login button, and we’ll redirect you to the Contest page, where you can complete the registration process by entering your credentials (don’t forget to save the page until December 9th). And since we already have your email, you won’t receive a confirmation email.
If you lost or forgot your password, please don’t worry. You can quickly recover it on the contest login page. Use the “Recover Forgot Password” and fill in your login and email. Then check your mailbox for the letter with credentials from [email protected] or [email protected].
— If you’re planning to register as part of a team (up to 3 participants), we kindly request each member to fill out their registration form using their personal email address and make sure that they indicate the correct team name.
But only the first team member who fills in the Registration form will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] with credentials and must share them among the team members. The rest of the team members complete the Registration form according to the rules above. Check the correctness of the Team name so we do not lose you.
— Individuals residing in the Russian Federation or other sanctioned territories cannot participate in the Proggy-Buggy Contest 2023.
