1. Sign up for the internship

Apply for the upcoming AI Search Java internship in Kyiv. If the program isn’t starting immediately, select it from the list and apply in advance to secure your spot.

2. Complete online tests

Once you’ve applied, you’ll receive a pre-internship test to evaluate your technical skills. Successful candidates will be invited to the next stage.

Please note: We only contact candidates who successfully pass the test. If you don’t hear from us by the end of summer, unfortunately, it means you didn’t pass this time.

3. Pass an interview

Talk to our recruiter and internship mentors — get to know the program and showcase your knowledge in a friendly technical interview.

4. Welcome to the internship

Begin your journey into AI Search with structured training, real tasks, and strong mentorship.

🎯 What you need to have

• Availability for at least 6 hours/day for study and project work
• Motivation to grow as a Search Engineer
• Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Algorithms, Data Structures, Statistics
• Engineering skills in Java
• Basic understanding of relational databases
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
• Education: Technical degree (BS or MS), or currently pursuing one

💡 Will be a plus

• Hands-on experience in Java: Multithreading, Java Web, JVM internals, Unit testing
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with Java tools and frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, slf4j
• Participation in Java pet/academic projects
• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP / Azure / AWS
• Search domain knowledge: Text analysis techniques, indexing, retrieval algorithms
