We’re looking for a Python Intern who is curious about AI and Large Language Models and has already tried working with LLM APIs at least a few times. This role is perfect for someone at the beginning of their journey who wants hands-on experience with real tasks and mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you’ll do
- Write simple Python scripts and small services
- Work with LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI or similar) using API keys
- Send requests to LLMs and handle responses
- Experiment with system and user prompts and understand the difference between them
- Assist in building and testing AI-powered features
- Learn best practices of clean code, version control, and basic software design
- Collaborate with engineers and get regular feedback
What we’re looking for
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Some hands-on experience with LLM APIs (you’ve tried calling an API with an API key, even in pet projects or experiments)
- Understanding that:
- there is a system prompt
- there is a user prompt
- prompts influence model behavior
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and ask questions
- English level sufficient to read documentation and communicate with the team
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM providers
- Familiarity with Git
- Basic knowledge of async Python
- Interest in AI agents, automation, or prompt engineering
- Small pet projects or experiments with AI tools
